Audrey Linstrom is an artist and designer who has developed and pursued her artwork since childhood. She studied design and illustration at the Fashion Academy of New York and has explored many aspects of commercial and fine art during her career.

Audrey refined her skills and gained recognition during years of painting commissioned portraits while raising three children as a single parent. She sold her works at galleries, banks, and restaurants, and provided illustrations for scientific publications and advertising campaigns. She also designed multimedia displays for Macy's and Lord & Taylor.

She formed her own company, Linstrom Associates, and hand-painted thousands of evening gowns for New York designers, as well as robes for Christian Dior. As art director and designer for a prominent lace company, she influenced fashion trends with her lace designs for Ralph Lauren, Jessica McClintock, Oscar de la Renta, Alfred Angelo, Priscilla Bridal, and DKNY.

Audrey loves architecture and has designed and drafted plans for homes for herself and several friends. Her other passion is gardening -- which she likens to creating "living paintings" with flowers, shrubs, and ponds. Her award-winning gardens have been featured in the national Garden Conservancy Open Days Program tours.

Audrey's paintings portray her emotional response to the beauty that surrounds us. Her canvases are filled with charming children, beautiful women, and tranquil settings -- woodland vistas, waterways, and ocean beaches.
